Very rare: Infections with clostridum sordellii are very rare and have been seen in women after childbirth. However, they have also been seen in women, who were not pregnant. Therefore, we cannot assume that being a defined time period, weeks or months, out of pregnancy will minimize the risk of the infection - the risk, albeit extremely small, is always there.
