YES: you should follow-up as directed by the physician/Cardiologist who ordered the echo test. Pulmonary Hypertension is TREATABLE and determining that a problem exists BEFORE it gets to be a full blown problem is the reason why Cardiology has made so many great advances in the last 15 years! I have recently just had an Echocardiogram as my brother was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy. Mine has come back with a 25cm2 Right atrium and Estimated PAP as 29mmhg+RAP. Mild Tr - does this sound like Pulmonary Hypertension?
Cardiologists:My LV diastolic function was not measured or recorded in Echocardiogram for 2019 results of Normal Echo.Previously 2013 Mild 2016 Mild LVDF.Ejection Fraction 58%. Cardiologist said as don't have hypertension no need to repeat Echo.True?
