Neck pain: I would consider warm compresses, massages, perhaps with a physical therapy or traction. If no contraindications may try a short trial of simple analgesics like tylenol (acetaminophen) or over-the-counter non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen or naproxen. If persistent may then consider imaging with mri. Hope you feel better soon.

Neck pain: At your age, a stiff neck is most commonly due to soft tissue problems such as inflammation or sprain. The pain should respond to simple conservative measures such as stretching, range of motion exercises, and anti-inflammatory meds (such as ibuprofen, naproxyn). If the pain is persistent or is associated with any other concerning signs such as fever, dizzyness, nerve pain, etc, then see a doctor.
