I was rear ended while driving my car today. i feel some stiffness in my back and neck. what should i watch out for? should i take any medications if the symptoms get worse or go to a doctor?

Post mva: The stiffness around your back and neck could be a muscle spasm. Anti inflammatory medication , rest, and icing the area will likely help. You should watch out for worsening of symptoms including dizziness, weakness, tingling and numbness, chest pain, and shortness of breath which could point to more serious causes of neck and back pain. I would recommend to follow up with your pcp for this
