Lower back pain and neck pain/stiffness after lumbar puncture. no positional relief. no headaches. no fever. not responding to tylenol either. what is the best tx for such back/neck pain?

If you haven't had this discomfort before the LP it may have developed because of the postioning you had to stay in during the procedure. Was the procedure easy or prolonged? I don't think it was the LP itself that caused any other harm. Assuming it's muscular discomfort, applying heat 20 minutes several times a day,gentle massage & wearing a soft cervical collar off&on& take a muscle relaxant
