Muscle twitching all over, neck weakness/stiffness, minor disc herniation of c2/c3 that hasn't resolved in 8 months. prednisone helped but once im off prednisone symptoms get worse again. normal emg. should i test for lyme? what other thoughts?

It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see a doctor, preferably a neurologist. Wish you good health!
