How does she look?: How many days of fever? How is she acting? Is she playful or really cranky and clingy? Does she have any other symptoms like a runny nose or cough? If this is the first day of fever and she is drinking well and acting/playing ok and has runny nose/cough, you can give her children's tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuproen and keep an eye on her at home. If there is anything worrisome besides fever, see your doctor.
