Dispensing errors po: ssible. Sometimes the pharmacist, in error, dispenses the incorrect medicine. In theory, the generic version of the medicine is supposed to have the same bioavailabilibility as the brand name. The fact that that you don't feel anything argues that you probably have gotten the wrong drug or the wrong dose. Go back to the same store with the medicine in the bottle that you got there.

Brand effect: After a product has run out it's patent protection, other companies can make & sell it.However, it must contain the identical active ingredient in the same dose & method of administration. It must also have identical "bioavailability" (absorbtion and action).Ritalin has been around so long that it is made by many companies. You either got the wrong drug or believe only the brand will work for you
