How long does it take for ritalin (methylphenidate) to work if you take it with breakfast?

Could vary.: It is recommended to take this 30 minutes prior to a meal. Food could change the bio-availability. The medication is usually working in 30 minutes after taking the pill. I would take it as it is supposed to be taken unless cleared by your prescribing doctor.
