I have a sinusitis, started amox 2 days ago and do not feel any improvement. i still have a low grade fever. should i be taking a diff antibiotic?

Perhaps: Would start off however by using a decongestant (pseudoephedrine) and saline sinus rinse thru a neti-pot, and perhaps a steroid nasal spray. If you are still not better would go and see an ENT doctor and get re-evaluated. Hope you are better soon.

Virus: Your symptoms of sinusitis may be caused by a virus that does not respond to antibiotics. It may also be possible you may need a different antibiotic. If after five days, no better, see your doctor for a reevaluation.
