Finger Hole: It is hard to say without seeing it. It is isn't hurting, draining puss, or turning your finger red. I would just watch it for a few days to see if it is getting better. if not you may want your GP to take a look at it. If it starts to get worse or spread or drain puss you should see a doctor right away.

Cyst: It could be a cyst , need to examine to confirm the diagnosis. If there is redness, pain, interference with finger movement or lump increases in size consult with your doctor .
