Arm pain: The arm pain most likely is unrelated to the lump which could be a cyst, ingrown hair or inflamed lymph gland due to some scalp irritation or inflammation. The arm symptom suggests a nerve impingement from a spur or disc in the region of a neck vertebra. A physician or a neurologist would be able to advise her after an examination.
