Ask the surgeon...: See urologist as appointed so to define what may contribute to your inability to urinate and empty bladder. Based on the current info, it is impossible to tell what should be done eventually. But during the first visit, s/he will surely review your history especially the voiding before & after A-P repair, and do inspection and palpation of the genital area before further investigation so to decide

Plan: Sorry to hear this and sorry to tell, that you have to wait these 3 days for evaluation. Decision could be done on base of quality of structure, and other clinical symptoms. Surgical or not surgical approach possible.
