My frenulum has torn, years ago, and with time the gap has become larger, now it is essentially hanging on by a string, i will only be able to see a urologist in a few days, what happens if it snaps completely!!?

Nothing: The glands of your penis is attached to the corpora cavernosa of you penile shaft. The frenulum or your foreskin is a remnant from where the skin folded together when you were an infant. Your injury was years ago and the skin is getting thinner. Essentially because you do not need it structurally.
