Not really: Normal ankle clonus is thought to represent lack of nerve myelination (maturing) that connects the lower/upper tracts. When the kid is beginning to walk, those pathways are in & clonus is expected to fade.Any more than 10 beats at any age can reflect a problem naas can differences between the two feet or persistence beyond 15 mo or so.I think 2 yrs is too late to ignore.
