Cysts are common: It is very normal for wome to develop a cyst from time to time. Most resolve within 6-8 weeks and do not require surgery. For some, cysts can be painful. Others do not even know they have a cyst. There are several types of cysts. Your doctor can give you specific advise on the management of your specific cyst.
