Likely physiologic..: Re: cyst in left ovary: A cyst of this size is considered likely to be a physiologic (normal) follicle or cyst that occurs after ovulation. Re: Missed periods: It is hard to assess given the (brief) history. The obvious first step is to exclude pregnancy, intrauterine or ectopic. When that is excluded, there are a host of other conditions; you need to seek advice from a GYN.
