Surgeon advice: 20 F: Spoke with a surgeon about my hitial hernia an he said it's probably my galbladder but I had an ultrasound year ago and it was fine, should I retest? ANS: your hiatal hernia is not your gall bladder so not certain what you are asking. Ultrasound is not 100 % diagnostic nor is a surgeon's history and physical exam. But my guess he probably is more likely correct than the ultrasound.
