Head swelling: The only part of his head that could swell is the scalp as the skull, being of bone, shouldn't swell and the brain's swelling can only be inside the skull. Scalp swelling can occur from inflammation, hair growth or fluid retention. These would be most unusual events,however. For further evaluation have him examined by a physician.
