I have internal itching in my left quadrant of stomach/abdomen. it is driving me crazy?

Itching: Would need mor history and to examine you and not really sure what you mean by "internal" itching. If it's the skin that's itching, is there a rash, dry skin? If it's more pain or burning in that area, it's possible it ocud be gastritis or heartburn. Has a trial of over the counter antacids helped? Any recent travel or new medications? Please consult PCP.
