Free piece positive: By leep procedure sometimes Gyn may do the procedure with specimen obtained not in one step but trim the cervix if concern about miss a lesion and that someone will call it "separate mucosa fragments" As long as the margins were free you should be fine but to follow up as instructed to have negative Pap later then you have nothing to worry about. Take care and follow up yearly is a must.

Cin 3: CIN 3 and Severe dysplasia are essentially the same thing. The margins of the LEEP specimen being clear is a good sign. It sounds like the specimen contained some other specimens from your surgery that also showed CIN 3. You will need to ask your surgeon what else was done during the LEEP

Follow up : Your doctor needs to chat with the pathologist who wrote this. Likely will need a follow-up look in the area in a few months, in the area where this specimen came from.
