My 13 y/o had an endoscopy done and bx report shows on the esophagus mild hyperemic squamous mucosa changes.what does this mean?

Minimal Clinical Sig: 1. Hyperemia is defined as: an abnormally large amount of blood in any part of the body. 2. Squamous changes refers to cell type found in esophagus. Overall, this finding is unlikely to be of major clinical significance, unless there were other finding(s).
