Complex case: If you are pregnant with twins, diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism and have a heart rate of 160 then immediate evaluation is needed. A multi specialty evaluation may be needed including Obgyn, Perinatology, pulmonology and cardiology. A PE in pregnancy is a very serious complication.
