A member asked:

Are there diff versions of g6pd deficiency? if so how these differences are established? by blood test may be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Genetic testing: G6pd is due to mutations in the gene. Like other genes there are multiple mutations that can produce the same end result. It is not a usual blood test by DNA analysis.
