A member asked:

Is it safe for someone with a blood disorder g6pd deficiency go scuba diving?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes, but: There are no major problems with pressure exposure. The problem can be with travel where medications for travel and unusual foods might cause a risk for hemolysis. You should have medical info with you. Many of the great places to dive in the world are somewhat isolated. For more info you can check with dan. They have a list of great resources.
