K pneumonia in urine: Do you have underlying medical issues or have been hospitalized recently?? K pneuonia UTI's are uncommon in healthy individuals and can generally be in patients with catheters. It is not an airborne bacteria but spread person to person or sometimes through contaminated medical equipment. Hope this helps
