Lots of time: when we advise low fiber for prepping for a colonscopy we suggest normally inadvisable white grains: white bread without nuts and seeds, white rice, plain white pasta, soda crackers. In the fruit and vegetable category it is equally unappealing: skinless sweet or white potatoes, ripe bananas, applesauce and small quantities of cantaloupe and honeydew are good choices...just 2-3 days!
