Not from hemorrhoids: Internal hemorrhoids are essetnially varicose veins just within the anal sphincter. They can protrude and bleed and occassionally are painful but do not cause constipation. Here treatment is diet and stool softner like colace (docusate sodium) or intermattent use of Haleys MO. that iws mqgnesia and mineral oil.
