Difficult to tell: The symptoms you have reported could certainly be a viral illness which will abate on its own. Given the fact that you have waited three days, it is best to see your doctor as you may have a treatable illness or be at risk of infecting others.

Viral infection: The symptoms are consistent with a viral infection. If the symptoms last for more than 10-14 days, i would strongly urge you to see your primary care physician.
