LPR: In my experience those medications are usually ineffective in laryngopharyngeal reflux as opposed to GERD. Effective treatment for this disorder has been elusive at this time, but it may be worthwhile to get a second opinion from an otolaryngologist.

Take protonix (pantoprazole) but still have mild post nasal drip, clearing throat clear mucus/ little yellow/ burping/ feeling something in throat and spasm. Why?
I been on protonix (pantoprazole) 40mg for 2 weeks mucus still running and hoarse off and on suspect lpr. Can I take tums before meals . Tums h2 blocker. ?

If you got lpr to where you have mucus ln throat after every meal do you have to eat that nasty blend diet for life because I can't hack it for life ?
