Gp referral to ent doctor for excess burping for a barium meal suspected pharyngeal pouch .only nasal endoscopy procedure was done.told i have lpr or gerd which i already know.would nasal endoscopy find pharyndeal pouch or only found with barium meal?

Yes: The endoscopic evaluation is most accurate..Barium can "miss" the pouch!!! Hope this is helpful! Dr Z
