A member asked:

Can a patient in a coma move eye lids, twitch toes/feet, and flail arms as though in protest when repositioned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Those are involuntary actions and are caused by random brain stimuli. There is no coordinated action of the brain, though. More so when limbs of a decapitated frog move for a while in random fashion.
