A member asked:

Can some extreme low sugar/carb diets be bad for you if you're on a lot of medication?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Dietician: It would be advisable for you to have a one time consultation with a registered dietitian at your local hospital for a healthy diet and the proper amount of daily calories for you and your level of daily activities. Diabetics, for example, are advised to avoid all concentrated sweets and markedly reduce their starch intake. Most of their calories come from protein and healthy fat intake.
