Could be an apple.: An apple shape will retain hip, buttock fat selectively, while loosing it elsewhere. That is the only answer i can think of. Exercise can help tone up the area, but will not causes fat loss, but make it less apparent! women are more prone to be pears then men!

See details: If you are still taking Prednisone weight loss is very difficult because of the effects of this med. The best solution is to discuss with your doctor if the Prednisone can be stopped, assuming you are still on it.

IgA nephropathy: Prednisone is indicated in IgA Neph only if the biopsy exhibits substantial cellular proliferation in the glomeruli. Prednisone can diminish this cellular presence. Standard therapy for IgA is ACE Inhibitor, BP control, and avoidance of triggers to flares. Prednisone is reserved for the extremely proliferative biopsies.
