My doctor told me i was 7 weeks, 6 days pregnant. however my sonogram says ga 9 weeks, 5 days. i guess im just confused on what it all means. ?

Sono is close approx: Ultrasound (sonogram) uses several measurements which "on average" correlate well with age of pregnancy. However, remember that these are approximations. Although the age estimations are often very close, and are very useful, they are not perfect. So do not try to use this as a definitive or precise measurement as to the actual day of conception... As that is not possible with this method.
