Implantation must : occur first, before HCG is measurable. 7 or more days is usually required, successful implantation can occur. However, in life, strange things are remotely possible. An ultrasound measurement of the fetus when 7-8 weeks along can be very accurate in picking due date and counting back to conception time.

Even if a woman's hCG levels are quite high in early pregnancy, wouldn't the embryo still grow at the same pace as what doctors & textbooks say?
Why would a doctor say that hCG levels in pregnancy can be 500 at 3-4 dpo? This would mean that a urine test would be positive at this point - how?
