"Head rushes" are: caused by a sudden decrease in blood pressure and blood flow to the brain with standing Standing up too quickly or too long, hot shower & dehydration can aggravate the problem. Most people's heart, nerves & blood vessels compensate so quickly that they don't notice anything. But severe head rushes can be caused by an underlying medical problem. Please see a doctor.
