Maybe: 3 days is a long time for it to take for the cat dander to cause symptoms. Viruses are the most common cause of hives in children... If she has fever or other symptoms i'd blame a virus. If the hives persist, see her doctor. If they recur after a new cat exposure, you have your answer. Regardless, otc antihistamines (benadryl, zyrtec, (cetirizine) etc) should be effective for the hives.

May be: Can be any thing from cat, dust mite, peanut or may be none of, give her 1/4 tea spoon ful Benadryl (diphenhydramine) if not better let her see her pediatrician.
