I have hives since 4 months. should i consult allergist or dermatologist? i was prescribed loradatine for 2 weeks but it didn't help.the hives appear at new places on the body everyday and itch a lot for a couple of hours.

Allergist vs Dermatologist: Any competent specialist in either field would help you, now that it is there for 4 months it became chronic, there are several other antihistamines than loratadine to deal with your case in different dose regimens, beside other medicines if needed, more important is history, examination and probably some investigations, good luck
