5 years old had a cold 10 days ago, was getting better with just an eventual dry cough. now hes warm to the touch, complaining of pain in legs, head and has a temperature of 99f. does this calls for a visit or should i keep an eye at him at home?

Fluids/Ibuprofen: Continue to encourage fluids, monitor temperature and treat fever > 101. If he can not weight bear or has increasing pain or fever, please see your pediatrician. He can take children's ibuprofen for pain and a local heating pad may help.

Visit: He has likely had a suprainfection that many times is bacterial and will need treatment. Taking him to his pediatrician would be appropriate.
