I had a tooth extraction and bone augmentation done on wednesday. i am still experiencing moderate (after taking pain meds) to severe (when the pain meds wear off) pain and there is still swelling on the side of my face where the tooth was extracted.

Not Uncommon: Pain and swelling after an extraction is not uncommon. But since you had a bone graft in preparation for a future implant, it would be best you contact the surgeon who did the procedure for a follow up appointment.
