Yes, that could be: considered normal. Mononucleosis is a viral infection usually (not always) caused by the Ebstein-Barr virus. More common symptoms are the fever and sore throat, as you suggest. My concern about hearing that you are vomiting is perhaps that is associated with spleen enlargement, a known complication of infectious mononucleosis.I would recommend a revisit with your doctor for evaluation.
