Foot pain/swelling: YES! - something is NOT right - while x-rays are good - inability to bear weight associated with swelling is of concern - how long have you had symptoms?? Your family doc should be able to draw blood - looking for inflammation (sed rate) and consider getting a nuclear bone scan - looking for a subtle stress fracture. good luck
