If the wound has-: -been treated, & left open, not sutured , I always would have patients shower but no bath, & keep it covered between. It all depends on the size of the wound, & if there is packing in it, obviously no shower/bath, but dressing changes by Ur physician .

Yes: As long as you pat dry the wound after the bath there's no reason why you can't use water over open wounds during the healing process
