Not about candy: At that size I would first have a regular checkup done as he may already have signs of pre-diabetes and high blood pressure. Once medical issues have been ruled out, you need to meet with a clinical dietitian and find out where his extra weight is coming from.People assume that it is sweets or deserts but it can be anything he consumes that he is not using to grow or burning off in activity.
