jammed my thumb on a volleyball serve. my fingers were tingly. lots of pain in my thumb & wrist area. today thumb & part of palm is bruised. sprain?

Yes: Probably jammed the joint. Rest the thumb. Ice if helps. But if you rest the thumb should recovery but may take a few weeks
