Yes, as long as...: What you describe sounds like normal tissue drainage after surgery. I am assuming you have no fever or increased oxygen requirements and that besides normal postoperative pain you feel fine. Also of course that your INR in the last week has been at therapeutic levels and that your blood glucose levels have been under control and that you're not currently taking any sort of oral steroid (see MD)
