A member asked:

I had my gallbladder removed a week ago. i have had alot of gas since surgery and is now a sour stomach. is this normal? i do have hypothyroidism

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Normal : Even outpatient surgery can put a lot of stress on the body. This sounds "normal", as everyone has slightly different responses to abdominal surgery with organ removal. You'll be fine, but if you think something is wrong, you can always call your surgeon. Be sure to keep your follow up appt. Hope this helps!
