Thyroid: A fever with a thyroid is unlikely. An enlarged heterogeneous thyroid will almost certainly require removal of a thyroid and maybe even more. Sounds awful, but when the thyroid glands are controlled you will most likely get thyroid medicines to take without difficulty.
