Mellaril Allergy: Thioridazine (Mellaril) is a piperidine antipsychotic drug which was used for treatment of schizophrenia and psychosis. In 2005 Mellaril was withdrawn due to cardiac arrhythmias. Allergic reactions could include swelling of tongue, throat, lips, mouth, hives or difficulty breathing.
